The CCA Emergency Celebrant Replacement Program is ONLY available for fully completed ceremony calendar entries.
Log In - My Celebrant Area
select My Calendar and click the magnifying glass to edit the ceremony you need help with.
Click CCA Emergency Celebrant Replacement Button
located at the bottom of that calendar entry.
Additional Info
enter any additional information to assist the replacement Celebrant.
Scroll down and Click Email Available Celebrants
Then Click Yes to confirm sending these emergency emails.
Available Celebrants Respond
Organize the collection of the wedding ceremony as well as transferring the ceremony and the Notice of Intended Marriage form.
Advise the Couple
Either the original Celebrant or the replacement Celebrant will contact the couple to let them know of the emergency situation.
Selected Replacement Celebrant Meets with the Couple
separately, prior to the start of the ceremony, to sight their identification and sign the Declaration to ensure that all legalities are taken care of.
Replacement Celebrant Conducts Ceremony and Registers Marriage
The replacement Celebrant conducts the wedding ceremony as written by the original Celebrant and completes the registration of the marriage.
Replacement Celebrant Fee
The original Celebrant pays the replacement Celebrant a $250 fee plus any travel fees paid by the couple to ensure the replacement Celebrant is not out-of-pocket.
